In today’s rapidly evolving industrial landscape, the integration of advanced technologies and digitalization has given rise to what is commonly referred to as Industry 4.0. This paradigm shift brings with it a demand for a new set of skills and competences, posing challenges for vocational education and training (VET) institutions tasked with preparing students for the workforce of tomorrow. Recognizing the importance of addressing these challenges, the DiTwin project will develop a Competence Framework designed to bridge the gap between VET education and the requirements of Industry 4.0.
